2001 Wedding & Enagement Announcements

Rachael and Kier
on the 1st of January 2001 at Mount Dandenong
How did you meet? Kier and I met at Williamstown Train station. He was standing there all dressed in his sexy motorbike gear, and i was out with my friend Patricia, i thought, "oh my goodness, yummy" and from what he has said, he thought the same thing but in more detail. We went to the Nelson Place, and had lunch together in a restaurant there, he then went home after exchanging numbers. He came to see me every weekend, as i was only 17 and he was 29.
How did he propose? Kier proposed in his 92 VP Calais, whilst we where driving along the beach in Port Melbourne. It was such a beautiful, and romantic moment. We talk about it all the time. The ring that he brought for me has a golden band, and a beautul diamond, that sparkles all the time, reminding me of the crystal waters at the beach the day he proposed to me.

We will be getting married in Mount Dandenong, at a beautiful old church, with millions of flowers.

How did you meet? We met on the internet. We wrote and chatted on the net for about 2 months, then he rang me and we exchanged phone calls for about a month. Then I went to Bali with my sister and we still kept in touch over the net and he even sent me a message on my mobile to say "Happy New Year" When I got back we finally met. We took our dogs for a walk at Cronulla. That was on the 17th Jan 1999. We moved in together on 8th March 1999, bought our house on 17th September 1999 and he proposed on 14th Feb 2000. It has been like one big dream.
How did he propose? In bed at 2 in the morning, it was completely spontaneous and very emotional.

We are eternally greatful to technology, and we are looking foward to a long and happy life together. If only everyone could be as happy as us.

Jane Kovelman and Boris Garber
on the 7th of January 2001at St Kilda Hebrew Congregation and Astoria Reception Centre.
How did you meet? Boris' cousin set us up on a blind date nearly four years ago. We went to Southgate (Melbourne - City), walked along the Yarra river and visited the Rialto Observation Deck. Boris has swept me off my feet with his gentleman-like manners, his sweetness and care. We dated for three years, and then he proposed. Now we are angaged for nearly a year and cannot wait till our "BIG DAY" in two months.
How did he propose? Boris took me to Royal Botanical Gardens, where we have spent a lot of time together, and he stood on one knee when we approached "our special part" of the gardens. I was so excited, I could not even speak, so I just knodded. He gave me a beautiful diamond ring, and most importantly his heart.

How did he propose? We went down to Melbourne for a long weekend trip and on the way back home stopped off in Eden. We woke up early to see the sunrise and it was then that he proposed.

On the 20th January I will marry my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with and love. I am the luckiest girl in the world.
